Shortly after the very dividing album "Kovovy haj", the obscure Czech band is back with another dose of "grey metal". And this time it's more about the darker part of the grey scale. Black metal elements are prevalent throughout the album - but there's a lot of offbeat moments just as well, including cleanly sung vocals (both whispered and hymnic), abrupt changes in mood, declamations, a saxophone solo (courtesy of Radek Havel), industrial sounds, even some krautrock-like rhythms. As always, all of the lyrics are in Czech and some of the singing is handled by TROLLECH's Tomas Kofron. Possibly the biggest surprise is the participation of Frantisek Storm, the legendary vocalist of MASTER'S HAMMER, whose voice is heard in four of the tracks. He makes IVO even weirder. Meaning better.
